Peer Review Process

Journal of Management and Informatics (JMI) applies a double-anonymous peer review process, meaning the identities of both authors and reviewers remain concealed throughout the evaluation.

All submitted manuscripts first undergo initial screening by the Editorial Board to ensure alignment with the journal’s focus and scope, check for plagiarism, and verify formatting compliance.

Manuscripts that pass this screening are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers. The reviewers evaluate submissions based on scientific merit, originality, relevance, clarity, and adherence to ethical standards.

Based on the reviewers’ feedback, the editorial decision may be:

  • Accepted without revision

  • Accepted with minor revisions

  • Accepted with major revisions

  • Rejected

Authors will receive detailed reviewer comments and are expected to revise the manuscript accordingly. The entire peer review process is expected to take up to two months (2 month), depending on reviewer availability and response times.

The final decision on manuscript acceptance is made by the Editor-in-Chief, based on reviewers’ recommendations and the overall quality of the manuscript.
