Scope Refinement and Submission Policy Update
The Journal of Management and Informatics (JMI) hereby announces a strategic refinement of its focus and scope to strengthen its academic positioning and ensure alignment with international publication standards.
Effective from the upcoming issues VOL 5 NO 3 DECEMBER 2026, JMI will strictly prioritize manuscripts that demonstrate clear contributions at the intersection of management science, information systems, business analytics, and artificial intelligence in management. In particular, the journal emphasizes research addressing digital transformation, data-driven decision making, and technology management in organizational and business contexts.
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts explicitly incorporate analytical approaches, data-driven methodologies, or technology-enabled perspectives. Submissions that are purely conventional, descriptive, or limited to traditional management topics without integration of informatics, analytics, or intelligent technologies will be desk-rejected. (See: JOURNAL FOCUS AND SCOPE)
This policy is implemented to ensure the consistency, relevance, and scientific rigor of all published articles, as well as to enhance the journal’s international visibility and indexing readiness.
Authors are strongly advised to carefully review the updated Focus and Scope before submission. Manuscripts that do not align with the journal’s strategic direction will not proceed to the peer-review stage.
We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our contributors in supporting this quality-driven initiative.
